Bedroom Remodel

We are almost done with project number one.   Its been a long time coming, but we are finally in the room, sleeping in it. 

We still need to get the closet doors and trim up, but for now, its livable!  We have a baby to get ready for.  :)

First Day of Preschool

Cooper started Preschool today.  His teacher is Mrs. Honken and Mrs. Sonia.   Mommy took the day off of work so she could be home to take Cooper to and from school.  The drop off was a little rough, as he really didn't know anyone there.  He headed outside and found a friend and he was good to go.

Cooper came home and said he was ready to go to back the next day.  All is well! 

 

 

Janelle + Kurt

Brad's cousin Janelle married Kurt on Saturday.  It was our third wedding for the month of August.   They got married and had their reception in New Ulm.  We decided to head up that day and also to drive back that night.   Nothing beats waking up in your own bed.  We had a great time.  It was a quick ceremony, then on to the bar for drinks.   After a while, we went to the reception hall and had supper.  The dessert bar was amazing!   We all loved the ice cream. 
Cooper had a blast dancing with all of his cousins. 

28 Week Pregnancy Update

How far along: 28 weeks

Weight Gain: 17lbs

Stretch Marks: None

Belly Button: Still In, belly button ring still in, too.

Wedding Rings On/Off: Still on!

Movement: Baby is trying to get out of my sides.  Staying out of my ribs though.

Feeling:  Pretty darn good!

Cravings: Chicken strips, cheese balls, ice cream and watermelon.

Symptoms: None

Missing: Being able to bed over easily to help Cooper.

Looking forward to: Being able to sleep on my stomach again.

Sleep: Just having to get up once a night to pee.

Doctor Appointment: Everything went great!  Baby's heartbeat is at 155.  Passed my glucose test with flying colors.  We did find out that my iron is a little low.  So now I'll be taking iron pills a couple times a day.

What's Next: The next appointment is on August 20 for the 30 week mark.  

Andrea + Blake

Blake and Andrea got married this past weekend.   The wedding and reception were in Fergus Falls.  We spent the weekend with Steve & Sue so we wouldn't have to get a hotel for two nights.   We headed up around noon on Friday and go back at a decent time on Sunday too.  Cooper had a blast getting to dance around all night long with Zack.   Daddy had fun talking to all of his friends from Battle Lake.  Uncle Cody and Cooper got to spend some time together too. 
Cooper loved being on the farm.  He got to see the cattle and hold baby kitties. 

Cooper wanted a Mohawk for the wedding.  While I was making the Mohawk for him, he asked Daddy if he wanted one too.  Brad said "No thanks bud."  Cooper's hilarious response was "Oh, is it because your hair is all broken back here?"  He says it as he rubs the back of his head.  HAHA!

 

 

Ride Along With Papa

Papa Skinny promised Cooper that when he was fully potty trained, he would take him for a ride along in the semi.   Almost two years later, we were finally able to make that happen.   Papa took Cooper from Sibley to Windom then dropped the truck off back in Hospers.  Cooper said he loved helping Papa and wants to go with him again.

 

 

 

Hagemeyer Wedding/Gerald's Farm

Ryan & Sarah got married this weekend.  It was in Willmar, so we headed up on Saturday afternoon.  It was a quick, beautiful ceremony.  Followed by a very warm reception at Sarah's family's farm.  Everyone was there, so we were able to take some great family photos. 

 

 

 

 

We decided to skip staying overnight in the hotel in Willmar and to drive to Fairfax to spend the night at Stan's place instead.  We could then wake up on Brad's 31st birthday and spend the morning with Grandma Grace.
