Cooper's First Christmas

Wow, this kid had a GREAT first Christmas.  He didn't know any different as to what was going on, but next year will be completely different.  Here are some cute photos of Cooper!

3 Month Professional Photos

We made a last minute decision to get Cooper's 3 month photos taken.  It was also a last minute decision to have both Brad and I in the photos.  Sears did a great job though!  We went in during a snow storm, thank goodness we were living in town.

Let me know what you think!  I just can't help to think what a handsome, happy little boy we have!

3 Months Old

Times are going fast.  We have a very happy little 3 month old on our hands.  He is always moving and smiling more now.  He even giggles!

Sometimes I think I'm not ready for another, but sometimes I think I could do this again now.  If it wasn't for daycare, I'd have 4 kids - as long as they are as easy as Cooper.  But everyone keeps telling me that that won't happen. 

We had Berger & Chelsea's wedding the first weekend in December.  We had a great time.  Cooper and Jason spent time with Grandma Grace & Grandpa Stan.  Thanks GG.

Ebbinga Family Christmas

We always have our Ebbinga Family Christmas early because (Great) Grandma & Grandpa leave for Arizone for the winter.  We're okay with have the christmas early because we have TOO many Christmases to go to anyway.

Cooper got so much lovin' during this get-together.  For a lot of people, this was the first time they'd seen him.  And for most, it was the last time they were going to see him in a long time. 

My aunt Kim doesn't like to take photos at all.  ;-)

2 Month Check-Up

Our little boy is 7 weeks old already.  We had our 2 month check-up a little early because on Monday, he'll be going to daycare and I'll be going back to work.  I have mixed feelings about going back.  I absolutely love spending all day with him, but I'm ready to start a new chapter in my life at US Bank.  We picked out a wonderful daycare.  We have no worries about leaving him. 

At his appointment, he was 11lbs 10oz and 23.5 inches long.  He's growing very well.  The poor little guy had to get his shots too.  He did okay.  They had two nurses, each had a needle.  I made Brad come to hold his arms.  I did not want to be the one to have to hold him down.  You could tell that he wasn't feeling the greatest when we got home.  His legs were sore.  He just wanted to be cuddled.  After we gave him a warm bath, he felt much better.  I'm just glad that he doesn't have to do it again for 2 months!

My aunt Kim is AMAZING!  She created birth announcments for us.  I defintely saved us time and money.  She is so creative and really good at what she does.

One Month

One Month old already!

I just can't believe it. Here are some photos to show his growth process.

First Trip to Iowa

Cooper's first trip to Iowa was successful. The entire drive down, Cooper slept. We had Nicole & Arthur's wedding on Saturday night. My mom and dad took care of Cooper so we could go out and have a good time. We also had a baby shower on Sunday. There were a lot of people that showed up.

2 Week Appointment

We went in for our 2 week appointment. Here is where Cooper measured up:

Weight: 9lbs 2oz (up almost 1lb!)

Length: 20.5 inches

He's growing like a weed!

First Couple Weeks

We have a great baby. He has his bouts of fussiness sometimes. But overall, he's a pretty happy baby. He doesn't do a whole lot these days yet, but eat, sleep and poop.

I just wanted to put up a could pictures to show everyone how he's growing.

It's A Boy!!

Cooper John Fischer was born on September 7th at 12:02pm. He weighed 8lbs 3oz, just like his Daddy. He was 21.5 inches long. He has brown hair and blue eyes. Everyone says he looks just like the both of us.

Our Story:

On Sunday, September 5th, I was having contractions all day. They were slowly getting closer together, but not more intense. We ended up going into the hospital at 10pm that night. They monitored me for a while and decided that I was not close enough to stay at the hospital until delivery. We were sent home.

The next day, on Labor Day, Monday, September 6th, I was having contractions all day long again. But this time they were slowly getting closer together and more intense. I didn't want to go back to the hospital to be sent home again. I decided that because we are so close to the hospital, and I could handle the pain, I would wait for a while. Brad and I went to bed around 10pm, and at midnight, my water broke. Our bags were already in the car from the night before, so we just hopped in the car and headed to the ER entrance at the St. Cloud Hospital.

We arrived and they took us up to our room. I was monitored for about a 1/2 hour, then they moved us to a delivery room. I went without the epidural for about 2 hours. Around 2am, I couldn't take it anymore. The doctor came in and started my epidural. Life was so much better then. We both tried to get some sleep while I was progressing.

At about 9:30am, I started pushing. We figured out that he was sunny side up. We tried many different positions, but no luck when it came to turning him. After 2 1/2 hours of pushing, a try with the forceps, three tries with the vacuum and an episiotomy, he was here!

He is all we could ever ask for. :)

37 weeks

We just had our 37 week appointment today. We are starting to go every week now as well. At this appointment, we were 2cm dialated and 50% effaced. At our 36 week appointment, there was no changes, so things are progressing. We are very excited for this little one to get here.

We hope it isn't too much longer!!

35 weeks

Wow, time has really flown by. We are almost done! The baby is moving like crazy, and we're enjoying every minute of it. I wanted to update some pictures to show the progress of Baby F.
